Social Network
A social network uses software to build social communities of people with similar interests, and those who are interested in exploring the interests of others. Typically social networks are web based and offer users various ways to interact (e.g. instant messaging, email, blogging and posting in forums). MySpace and Facebook and facebook are two of the most popular social networks in North America.
